“Our vision is to transform our municipality into an environmentally clean, green, pollution free, ecologically sound and economically self reliant urban area which to be transparent, effective social and urban development and good urban governance. The all citizen of the municipality will get adequate and equitable access to basic infrastructures services and engaging in gainful self employment to the unemployed. The industrialist and other businessmen will find their favourable destination for investment for leading a healthy and safe living environment and upliftment of the poor, minority and economically vulnerable groups of people, So that our Municipality becomes a citizen’s Municipality in future”

We see waste as a resource and aim to build a circular economy. Our vision is to achieve 100% waste segregation at source, scientific processing of biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste, and minimal environmental impact through eco-conscious policies.

Panskura Municipality is committed to ensuring well-lit, safe, and secure streets for all residents. Currently, around 8540 street lights are actively illuminating our roads, lanes, and public spaces, Our vision is to expand and modernize the street lighting network by installing more high-mast lights at key junctions and public areas, and bringing more streets—especially in underlit zones. By integrating energy-efficient lighting and smart monitoring systems, we aim to enhance visibility, improve public safety, and support a vibrant night-time economy across the municipality.
