Since September 6, 2022, Panskura Municipality has been administered by a Board of Administrators following the expiration of the previous municipal board's term. The West Bengal government appointed Sri Nandakumar Mishra, the former chairman of Panskura Municipality, as the administrator to run the municipality's functions during this period.
